Our Practice

Rosner Patient Advocacy Services speaks on behalf of its clients to help simplify and smooth the journey through what is for many an unfamiliar medical world. As some examples, this might be to:

  • guide a family through a loved one’s medical emergency or to

  • locate a hard-to-find specialist to address a chronic condition or

  • simply to get a hospital’s medical team to respond to phone calls

Our Credentials

Rosner Patient Advocacy founder and director Laurie Rosner, MPH, is the heart of the service. She has developed an extensive—and ever-growing—list of contacts in leading hospitals and other medical facilities around the country. After decades in and around the medical world she deals as efficiently and professionally with staff in large organizations as she does kindly with anxious clients.

Her credentials include training at Bellevue Hospital/NYU School of Medicine, The Roosevelt Hospital, New York and The Mt. Sinai Medical Center, New York. A graduate of Columbia University, she has a Master’s Degree in Health Administration/Public Health from The Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.

During her 25 year career she has interviewed international medical opinion leaders and was a consultant to the National Institutes of Health, The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Pasteur Institute in France.

Her memberships in the American Hospital Association, the American Public Health Association and the Hospital PR and Marketing Society help keep her current on medical trends and issues affecting her clients.

We also offer referrals to Steve Fleischer, an elder care attorney who specializes in Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, health proxies, wills and estates. He also offers a free consultation and will discuss his fee structure at that time.
